Finally the wait is over ... ex
'Kiss of the Gypsy'
front man and guitarist, Tony (Mad dog) Mitchell, together with ex 'Touch'
members, Rob Bridge and Chris Gindrod have joined forces
with ex 'Cowboys and Angels' drummer, Mike (Ghost) Beck and
popular Classic/Rock/Metal guitarist, Chris Hunt to form
'KINGDOM OF DEADMEN' ... ...
A
Unique Classic Rock/Metal blend, some have compared to, Velvet Revolver/Queens of the
Stone Age/Iron Maiden/Thin Lizzy/Queen/Metallica/Muse with the dynamics
and controversy of a Tarantino movie with inspirations from 60s & 70s
classic rock music, movie stories and soundtracks which influenced the
dark and epic concept album 'BLACK RHAPSODY', which depicts
abuse, revenge, love, lust and addiction summed up in the sad tale of
'WILDFLOWER' but unfolds in more detail within the rest of the
songs. Each has its linked story and with it, you get the picture.
Mitchell’s aggressive
and heart felt singing, together with Bridge’s twin vocals, rips
relentlessly through the songs. The unique octave monster metal riffs
led by Mitchell and Hunt, explode into life from start to finish. The
flawless foundation of Beck’s powerhouse drumming and Grindrod’s superb
catchy bass lines, playing every push and fill. Bridge’s signature
tremolo guitaring, adds to the identity and gives it that 60s movie
feel.
